Located in the small town of Circleville, Ohio, the Ohio Christian University focuses upon the overall education of a person, with a particular emphasis on blending the professional interests of a person with his faith. With as many as 550 students studying at the University, the Ohio Christian University is recognized by the North Central Association of The Higher Learning Commission, the Ohio Board of Regents and Association for Biblical Higher Education.
Where financial aid for students is concerned, almost ninety nine percent of the students have acquired some form of grant or a loan. Students, based on their eligibility, can avail grants such as Federal Pell Grant, Ohio Student Choice Grant, Ohio Instructional Grant (OIG) and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant. There is also the option of availing Federal Work Study or loans such as Federal Stafford Loans, Student Signature Loans or Federal PLUS Loan (Parent Loan). Besides academic training, considerable stress is placed on extra curricular activities such as internships, study abroad programs as well as sports. Some of the sports which are popular within the campus include Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball and Golf. Athletics is given a prime importance within the Ohio Christian University culture, with students competing at the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association.
